Scuba divers from all over the world have patiently been waiting for the Greek Government to rid the diving bans throughout the Greek Seas. In October 2005 the Greek Government did just that. Scuba diving in Greece is permitted everywhere, including among numerous underwater archeology sites.
Greece is one of the most beautiful places in the world to visit. With over 4,000 islands and 12,000 miles of coastland the Greek Seas offer perfect conditions for scuba diving. Average water temperatures around the Greek Islands range from 15 - 30 Degrees Celsius. The aquatic life is magical with numerous species of fish, octopus, grouper and other colorful marine life. Divers will often stumble across shipwrecks and discover never before seen treasures.
